Steering Valve Bracket Installation
4. Install the valve in a position that is easy to access for service and hose connections. Do not install the valve in a position
that is difficult to reach.
5. Install the valve on a vehicle structure that provides sufficient strength to secure the valve weight plus the mounting
bracket and hoses.
6. Secure the valve to the vehicle using existing bolts, threaded holes or through holes on the vehicle. The bracket kit includes
a variety of short and long metric bolts and nuts in sizes M8, M10, M12, M16 & M20.
Bracket Mounting Examples
There are four basic methods for installing the steering valve brackets. Figure 3-8 through Figure 3-11 show the various
installation methods using the “L” and “S” brackets.
