service performed on the boat to assist, if necessary, in
the determinaon of whether a failure is covered under
this Limited Warranty. Damages to an Axis Boat caused by
improper operaon, care and maintenance are not covered
by this Limited Warranty.
Secon 8.3. Design and/or Manufacturing Changes.
Malibu Boats reserves the right to implement changes in
the construcon or components of any Axis Boat at any me,
without incurring any obligaon to make the same or similar
changes on Axis Boats previously built and/or sold.
Secon 8.4. Other Warranes.
Some manufacturers of component parts included
in an Axis Boat may provide limited warranes. Please
refer to component part manufacturer’s limited warranty
disclosures, if any, for details, including their terms,
condions and limitaons, of which Malibu Boats makes no
representaons or warranes.
Among other warranes, note that certain items including, but not limited to, power train systems,
Bimini’s and boat covers are among those components covered by individual, separate warranes, which
are explained and set forth in materials supplied by the component part manufacturer. Any and all claims
or defects should be submied directly to the manufacturers of those parcular component parts.
Secon 8.5. No Other Warranes.
No oral or wrien informaon, advice or communicaon of any nature by or from Malibu Boats or its
representaves, employees, dealers, agents, distributors or suppliers shall create a warranty or in any
manner increase or modify the scope of this Limited Warranty.
Secon 9. Customer Sasfacon Procedure
Secon 9.1. Warranty Claim Procedure.
To obtain warranty service and/or repairs, the following steps are required:
(a) Nofy a service facility or dealership authorized by Malibu Boats to perform service or repairs
to Axis Boats (“Authorized Service Dealer”) or Malibu Boats of the substanal defect in materials or
workmanship aributable to Malibu Boats, within thirty (30) days of discovery of the defect (which
must be in the applicable Coverage Period);
(b) Promptly schedule an appointment with and deliver the Axis Boat to an Authorized Service
Facility for repairs. Warranty service must be performed by Malibu Boats or an Authorized Service
Dealer. For assistance in locang an Authorized Service Dealer, please visit www.Axiswake.com, select
the “Find a Dealer” tab, and ulize Malibu Boats’ Dealer Locator or call Malibu Boats at (865) 458-7110;
and
* Malibu Boats reserves the right to require further evaluaon and/or informaon regarding a warranty
claim against an Axis Boat prior to its repair as well as designate the place of repair.
Subject to the terms of this Limited Warranty, any covered Axis Boat or component part with a
substanal defect in materials or workmanship that is returned to an Authorized Service Dealer during the
appropriate Limited Warranty period will be repaired or replaced, in Malibu Boats’ sole discreon, without
charge to the Purchaser for parts and labor. This provision is subject to the following terms and condions:
(a) Malibu Boats shall be obligated only to repair or replace those items that prove defecve, in
Malibu Boats’ sole discreon, upon examinaon by a qualied representave of an Authorized Service
Dealer or Malibu Boats’ own personnel, as applicable;
(b) Malibu Boats warrants authorized repairs or replacements made by or on behalf of Malibu Boats
only for the remainder of the applicable Coverage Period;
