The ADVA NCED MENU is displayed for t he following settings.
VIDEO SIGNAL AUTO / NTSC / PAL /
SECAM / 4.43NTSC /
PAL-M / PAL-N / PAL-60
When AUTO is selected, the appropriate video format is automatically
selected depending on the input s ignal. If the im age isn’t displayed
correctly, select the desired video format manually.
SETUP AUTO Select to change the SETUP mode automatically.
OFF Select to make black lighter.
3.75% / 7.5% Select to make black thicker.
When 7.5% is chosen, the brightness is decreased by the setup cancel
function for the U.S. Choose O FF when the image is dark.
SCART INPUT ON / OFF Choose ON when connecting the projector with a dev ice equipped
with the SCART terminal that can ou tput RG B signal. SCART term inal
is used mainly in Europe. Choose O F F no rmally. (Available only for
the input signal from the CO M PUTER /COM PONE NT VIDEO IN-1
terminal.)
LAMP WARNING STANDARD When the lam p operating time exceeds 3 000 hours with LAM P MOD E
set to L O W, a w ar ning dialog is displayed.
SHORT TERM When the lamp op erating time exceeds 3800 hours with LAMP M OD E
set to L O W, a w ar ning dialog is displayed.
HIDE OS D OFF Select this option for normal use.
ON The auto power-off dialog, lamp warning dialog, and abnormal
temperature dialog a ren’t displayed.
LAMP 1 TIME RESET

The LAMP 1 op eration time is reset to 0 .
LAMP 2 TIME RESET
OK
The LAMP 2 op eration time is reset to 0 .
FILTER TIME RESET
OK
The filter operation time is reset to 0.
RESET ALL

The menu settings are r eset to the f actory defaults (ex cept the
LANGUAGE, PASSWORD FUNC TION, SCREEN, and NE TWORK
setting s).
• CINEMA MO DE can be adjusted only when a TV60, T V 50, 480i, 576i or 1080i signal is being displayed.
• When S CART INP UT is set to ON, normal computer signals aren’t projected.
• Use a c omm ercially available S CART-M in
i D-SUB 15-pin cable w hen c onnecting this projector with an AV de vice equipped with
the SCART terminal.
• Some AV devices equipped with the SCA RT terminal aren’t compatible with this projector.
• The RES ET ALL process may take som e time to complete.
• You cannot carry out RE SE T ALL for approx. 2 minutes after the lam p switching or the lam p relay operation.
