2.4 Shut-Down Procedures
On all units first close the fill valve.
2.4.1 Units with Electrical Motor
Turn off electrical power with the appropriate switch
2.4.2 Units with a Gasoline Engine
Shut down the gasoline engine with either the stop button or stop lever. (See manufacturers instruction
manual.)
2.4.3 All Units
1. Vent unit to approximately 1,150 psi (80 bar).
2. Decompress with drain valves to remove all moisture in the filter and the oil and water separator.
3. Close all drain valves again.
4. Check the oil level in the compressor and top up, if necessary.
5. Also check operating hours to see if the compressor needs servicing in accordance with the mainte-
nance schedule.
