Figure 27 shows the serial connector’s orientation.
The following table shows the pinouts for the interface connector.
6.2.2 Five Volt Power Supply Output
Pin 5 of the interface connector is a 5 VDC power supply and can supply up to 200 mA current
to a serial peripheral device (such as a barcode reader). The ground return for the supply is on
pin 7 of the interface connector.
