Chapter 2 System Overview
INTEGRA® Controller
This system is made up of the INTEGRA® (Controller), E-1063 (User Interface), VFD panels and the Operator Station
(for Attended Sites). The system can be purchased in either a 32 or 64 outputs model. Be aware that the 32 Output
systems will show setup functions for the remaining 32 outputs though they are not installed. The system allows the user
to set up 15 packages and 15 options. The options can select/deselect functions of the user-selected packages. Options
cannot run as stand-alone washes with out first selecting a package. Package and options can be selected from a variety
of different operator/customer interfaces. The possible interfaces includes the Belanger 15-15 Operator Station, any
push-button or contact closures, and a variety of aftermarket point of sale terminals with contact closures for wash
selection. The point of Sales can operate direct selection of packages, binary selection of packages or pulsed count
selection of packages.
INTEGRA® VFD Panels
Every INTEGRA® System includes a VFD System Panel., It consists of a Conveyor VFD and seven VFD’s for operation
spinning wheels. These seven VFD’s are stations 2 thru 8 and they operate for every vehicle regardless of Package or
Option setup. Outputs can be configured to retract equipment from vehicles even if the VFD is spinning the wheels.
These VFD Panels require CAT-5e cable to be installed from the controller to the System VFD Panel. Then another is to
be installed from the System VFD Panel to the next VFD Panel and continue the loop through all VFD panels.
This system consists of multiple motors supplied via Variable Frequency Drive. Each motor should have its own ground
wire connected close to the VFD at the supply side and on the motor, at the motor side. This ground wire should not be
joined with any other ground wires including the junction box, sub pates and conduit. 4-Core power cable is preferred for
this application.
The last panel in the loop will require the installation of a resistor.
The optional VFD Panels are 25HP Pump Panels, a six VFD (10HP each) Dryer Panels and a four VFD (10HP each)
Dryer Panel.
The Pump Panel ships pre-configured to be operated by Pump #1. Pump #1 can be selected ON or OFF per Package or
Option. Selecting ON or OFF per package is activated via VFD Mode 3 (see SETUP/PACKAGES).
If additional pumps are ordered, the parameters will need to be changed on the additional pumps to Pump 2, Pump 3 or
Pump 4. These pumps will be ran for all vehicles regardless of Package or Options, unless activated via standard function
(see SETUP/VFD OPERATIONS).
See your supplied prints for Parameter Lists.
If an AirBlade™ Express 180 is ordered a 60HP and 40HP VFD Panel will be shipped with it. The 40HP dryer will need
station numbers changed to range between15 and 20 because the 60HP utilizes 9 to 15. See supplied prints for
Parameter Lists.
