Chapter 7 Faults and Alarms
Faults
The following is a list of the Faults that may show up:
• Hydraulic Tank 1 Low: This will shut the system down until the Fault has been reset. If a
modem is connected, the system will page out the Fault Codes. Input is to be on when
the hydraulic oil level is normal. The Input MUST be “jumpered” if hydraulic unit not
used.
• Hydraulic Tank 2 Low: This will shut the system down until the Fault has been reset. If a
modem is connected, the system will page out the Fault Codes. Input is to be on when
the hydraulic oil level is normal. The Input MUST
be “jumpered” if there is only one
hydraulic tank.
• GFCI Fault: This will shut the system down until the Fault has been reset. If a modem is
connected, the system will page out the Fault Codes
• Low Air Pressure: This will shut the system down until the Fault has been reset. If a
modem is connected, the system will page out the Fault Codes.
• Conveyor Jam: This will shut the system down until the Fault has been reset. If a
modem is connected, the system will page out the Fault Codes. This fault is caused
when the “conveyor Pulse” is lost during conveyor operation. See SETUP / MISC to
disable
• Input Fault: This fault will alert you by pager but will NOT shut the system down. When
input is OFF, this Fault will self RESET.
• Roller Up Fault: This fault will alert you by pager but will NOT shut the system down. Will
RESET when Dollie Count input momentarily turns OFF.
• E-STOP Fault: Will alert you on the pager and on the screen. This occurs when E-Stop
Fault is enabled and the E-Stop is pressed for more than 60 seconds.
• Overload Tripped: This Fault will occur if a motor overload is tripped in one of the VFD
Panels.
• Check Enter Photo: This Fault indicates that you should check the ON and OFF state
od the bay enter Photo-Eye.
• VFD Fault (Sta 1 – 8): This fault will occur if one of the VFD’s are tripped. Only stations 1
– 8 monitored for this fault. This fault will stop the wash.
• VFD Fault (Sta 9 – 24): This fault will occur if one of the VFD’s are tripped. Only stations
9 – 24 monitored for this fault. This fault will not stop the wash.
• Slow Net (Sta 1 – 8): This fault will occur if one of the drives is experiencing
communication issues or is turned off. Slow Comm Sta will display which VFD is
experiencing communication issues.
