Air in the Hydraulic System.
Run the Lift up and down
several times to bleed the air
from the system.
Friction due to lack of
lubrication or misalignment.
Lubricate the Lift.
Poor seal alignment on Cylinder
Rod.
Align Cylinder Rod.
Severe leaking of the Cylinder.
Replace Cylinder Seals.
Friction resistance due to dirty
Hydraulic Fluid.
Clean Hydraulic System
Elements and replace Hydraulic
Oil and Filter.
Pressure shock
One-Way valve or throttle valve
failure in cushion device
Repair one-Way valve/throttle
valve.

Pressure cannot be
maintained after Platform
is Lifted.
Solenoid Valve element is
blocked.
Clean or replace Solenoid valve.
Outlet fitting is not fastened, or
seal is damaged.
Reattach Outlet Pipe or replace
seal.
Dirty Hydraulic Oil.
Replace Hydraulic Oil.
Cylinder retracts slowly
when lowering.
Throttle Valve is not adjusted.
Adjust Throttle Valve.
Throttle valve is blocked.
Clean or replace Valve.
Solenoid Valve is blocked.
Clean or replace Valve.
Cylinder does not retract
at all when lowering.
Lowering Valve blocked.
Clean or replace valve.
Lowering solenoid is inoperative
or supply voltage is too low.
Replace Solenoid Coil or supply
correct voltage to the coil.
Cylinder worn or broken.
Replace the Cylinder.
Lift is too loud, or Lift is
making an abnormal
noise when Power Unit is
on.
Motor is inoperative.
Replace motor.
Low Hydraulic Fluid allows air into
pump and system.
Refill Reservoir. Run the Lift up
and down several times to bleed
air out of the system.
Pressure Relief Valve is triggered.
Remove excess weight.
Inlet Filter is blocked.
Clean or replace filter.
Hydraulic Oil is dirty.
Replace Hydraulic Oil.
Pressure relief valve is
inoperative.
Replace Pressure Relief Valve.
Motor does not function.
Input Voltage too low.
Correct the low voltage.
Voltage drop due to wrong wire
gauge for distance.
Replace the wire with the correct
wire gauge for the distance.
Starting Capacitor inoperative.
Replace starter Capacitor.
