Securing Stitch
Stitch pattern: Mode 1 : 7
Mode 2 : 07
Thread tension: 2 - 6
Presser foot: Zigzag foot
Reverse sewing button
Use this stitch to secure the beginning and the end of a seam
with backstitching.
When you reach the end of the seam, press the reverse sewing
button
once. The machine will sew four reverse sewing
stitches, four forward stitches, and then stop sewing automati-
cally.
Locking Stitch
Stitch pattern: Mode 2 : 11
Thread tension: 2 - 6
Presser foot: Zigzag foot
Reverse sewing button
This unique stitch is used where an invisible locking stitch is
needed.
Lower the needle close to the front edge of the fabric.
The machine will sew several locking stitches in place and con-
tinue sewing forward.
When you press the reverse sewing button
at the end of the
seam, the machine will sew several locking stitches in place,
then stop sewing automatically.
Triple Straight Stitch
Stitch pattern: Mode 1 : 3
Mode 2 : 03
Thread tension: 2 - 6
Presser foot: Zigzag foot
Straight Stitch
Stitch pattern: Mode 1 : 1 or 2
Mode 2 : 01 or 02
Thread tension: 2 - 6
Presser foot: Zigzag foot
For seaming garments, zipper application and more.
This strong, durable stitch is recommended when both elasticity
and strength are necessary in order to insure comfort and
durability. Use it to reinforce areas such as crotch and armhole
seams. Also use for extra reinforcement when constructing
items such as backpacks.
Pattern 02 is used for seaming ne fabrics.
