3.1 Contraindications
• Faros device is contraindicated for those patients requiring attended, in-hospital monitoring for life
threatening arrhythmias.
• Faros 180L is contraindicated for pediatric patients weighing less than 10 kg.
3.2 Security
System applications are recommended to be used with computers with proper anti-virus protection in-
stalled. Use of firewall is also recommended. Faros Bluetooth module uses Secure Simple Pairing (SSP).
Online measurements via Bluetooth connection with Faros device is recommended to be done in hidden
mode. Hidden mode can be configured using Faros Manager. With any concern related to security please
