6.22 Sale of articles with different price types
Menu setting
- In the "Database configuration" menu, determine the number of "Supplementary PLU
data" for the price types "Price grad.", "Free", "n*quantity grad.", "n*amount grad.", "Per-
centage grad.", "Amount grad.", "Mix. special price". Select 6 3 1 1.
- In the "PLU Maintenance" menu, define the article including the price type: "Normal
price", "Price grad.", "Free", "n*quantity grad.", "n*amount grad.", "Percentage grad.",
"Amount grad.", "Mix. special price", "Price groups" or "Extra price". Select 1 1 2 /
Dept.no. / PLU no. / 1.
The article is sold at the same price, independent of the quantity or piece number.
Graduated price
Example: PLU type "Weighed"
The unit price of ground meat is e.g. 11.00 EUR/kg. There is a price graduation by weight.
Example: PLU type "Non-weighed"
The unit price for "pepper salami" is, for example, EUR 6.00 EUR/piece. The price graduation
is according to piece number.
Normal price, price grad. and the difference in amount are printed
plus a supplementary text on freely-programmable labels and on
tickets, e.g. "You can save EUR 1.00".

is reduced by a free-of-charge weight.
