7 Troubleshooting
7.1 Fault description
Fault Cause Elimination
Display does not illuminate. – No supply voltage. – Check and insert power
cable.
– Switch on mains switch.
Display does not illuminate. – incorrect display settings
for brightness, contrast.
– Reset display settings.
Confirm key sequence:

Weight value display not at
zero or modified.
– Load plate not correctly
positioned or objects lo-
cated on the load plate.
– Soiling on or beneath the
load plate.
– Scale not leveled.
– Clean load plate, position
correctly and remove ob-
jects.
– Level scale.
– Switch device on/off.
Printer will not print. – Print bar is open. – Close print bar correctly.
7.2 Messages
Test messages are listed in alphabetical order in the following table including cause and pos-
sible error rectification.

Scales switched off, please
switch on!
– Scales are not activated. – Switch on all scales.
– Insert connection cable
and check.
Attention! Scales are
switched off!
– Appears when the "Re-
ports" menu is selected.
One or more scales are
not switched off.
– Switch on all scales.
– Check cabling.
Not in tare range – Appears during sales.
– During taring attempt
scales were in underload
range.
– Unload scales, reset and
retare.
Evaluation active on another
station
– Appears if the same re-
port is started on several
devices.
– Wait until the report is
completed on other de-
vices.
