Control panel buttons
Button Description
Power
The power button is used to apply or remove power from the power supply to
the system.
Note: Turning off system power with this button removes the main power,
but keeps standby power supplied to the system.
To remove all power, unplug the system before performing maintenance
tasks.
Reset
The reset button is used to reboot the system.
Control panel LEDs
LED LED state Description
Information
This LED indicates the system status.
Solid red An overheat condition has occurred. (This may be caused by
cable congestion.)
Blinking red
(1Hz)
Fan failure: check for an inoperative fan.
Blinking blue
(300msec)
Remote UID is on. Use this indication to locate the unit from a
remote location through IPMI interface.
NIC2
Green
flashing
This LED indicates network activity when flashing.
NIC1
Green
flashing
This LED indicates network activity when flashing.
HDD
Not used
Power
Solid green This LED indicates that power is supplied to the system's
power supply unit.
This LED is illuminated when the system is operating
3.3 Hard drive tray LEDs
The device supports hot-swappable SATA hard drives in hard drive trays. Each hard drive tray
has two LEDs on the front of the tray.
