Cleaning, maintenance and inspection
7.5.10 Checking the riding light
1 Check the cable connections on the headlight
and rear light for damage and corrosion and
ensure they are firmly in position.
If cable connections are damaged or corroded,
or are not firmly in positioned. take pedelec out
of service. Contact specialist dealer.
2 Switch light on.
3 Check that the headlight and rear light come
on.
If the headlight or rear lights do not come on,
take pedelec out of service. Contact specialist
dealer.
4 Place pedelec 5 m from the wall.
5 Stand the pedelec up straight. Hold the
handlebars straight with both hands. Do not
use the kickstand.

6 Check the position of the light beam.
If the light is positioned too high or too low,
adjust riding light (see Section 6.5.17.1).
