Yes means, you can run the firmware in top row on the hardware version indicated. If you do
upgrade or downgrade, the controller will indicate faults, after up or downgrading you must
update the configuration. The configuration files are not backward compatible. You must
create a new configuration file and make sure you do not mix them up.
Part of EN54‑16 compliancy is to have a well documented system. This includes correct
naming and storing of configuration files.
Notice!
Firmware version 2.16.07 is identical to 2.16.05 except the handling of the USB controller IC.
The following f/w versions are available:
2.16.05, 2.16.07, 3.00.02.
Notice!
Router 2.0 h/w will need a hardware change to operate 3.00.02 f/w. This is not supported or
recommended.
