5 Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting Scenarios
If you encounter a problem while using the M611 Label Printer printer, see the following sections for

Ribbon cartridge will not go into the bay
Problem: The ribbon cartridge will not go easily into the bay.
Solutions:
• Make sure the cartridge is oriented correctly.
• Check to see if there is slack in the ribbon between the rollers. If so, rotate the take-up spool
clockwise to remove the slack.
