Monitoring management module redundancy

Displaying switchover information

You can view the system log or the traps logged on an SNMP trap receiver, which includes

Information about whether a switchover has occurred. In addition, refer to “Syslog message for

Hitless OS upgrade and Hitless switchover” on page 111.

To view the system log or the traps logged on an SNMP trap receiver, enter the following command

at any level of the CLI.

This output shows that one switchover occurred.

FastIron SX 800 Router# show log

Buffer logging: level ACDMEINW, 25 messages logged

level code: A=alert C=critical D=debugging M=emergency E=error
