INFORMATION
If pyrofuses are applied, this function can be activated by means of the PARAM software. For
further information on the function and wiring of pyrofuses, refer to chapter 3.4.2 Pyrofuses.
Internal wiring
Pyrofuses can be connected directly to these pins. If an overvoltage is detected, the pyrofuses are triggered.
The pins 11 PFO_VC+ and 14 PFO_VC- are internally always connected to pin 2 AUX via a fuse.
The pins 12 PFI_VC+ and 15 PFI_VC- are open drain connections. If an overvoltage is detected, the two pins
are drawn to GND and the pyrofuses are triggered.
If no pyrofuses are applied, the respective function can be deactivated by means of the PARAM software. The
pins 11, 12, 14 and 15 do not need to be connected in this case.
