4.6 Mixing and dosing apparatus
With a V-MIX Fix Plus 1S, the mixing and dosing appa-
ratus consists of:
 a mixing auger (1),
 a drive (2),
 a gear motor (3).
The gear motor (3) powers the drive (2). In turn, the ro-
tating motion of the mixing auger (1) guides it over the
drive (2).
The mixing auger (1) chops, mixes and transports the si-
lage to the delivery opening.

With a V-MIX Fix Plus 2S, the mixing and dosing appa-
ratus consists of:
 two mixing augers (1),
 two gears (2),
 to a gear motor with PTO shaft (3).
The gear motor (3) powers the drives (2). In turn, the ro-
tating motion of the mixing auger (1) guides it over the
drive (2).
The mixing augers (1) chop, mix and transport the silage
to the delivery opening.
