Hazards to personnel due to pinching, pulling and catching can occur if moving
parts are unprotected during operation of elements of the machine’s drive!
Operate the machine only with fully mounted protective devices.
Opening protective devices while the machine is running is prohibited.
Close open protective devices prior to operating the machine.
Hazards to personnel due to pinching, cutting, snagging and pulling can occur in the
following cases through unintended contact with the mixing auger during operation!
Never enter the mixing chamber when the mixing auger is in operation.
6.1 Switching on the machine
1. Ensure that all safety equipment has been correctly positioned and that no persons or objects are in
the mixing chamber or delivery area.
2. Turn the main switch on the control cabinet to the „ON“ position (see Chapter4.15 Control Cabinet
beginning at page 48).
Power supply is established.
The machine is switched on.
6.1.1 Powering up following emergency stop or malfunction
After pressing the emergency stop/off button or in the event of a malfunction, power down all controls
that have the capacity to trigger dangerous movement. The functions of switching the system on and
confirming operation are performed as follows:
1. Resolve malfunctions.
2. Unlock emergency stop button.
3. Press the “confirm” button until it lights continuously – do not press and hold (see Chapter 4.15.1.4
„Confirm error message“ in “basic” control, page 49 or Chapter 4.15.2.4 „Confirm error message“ in
„Plus“ control, page53) or error messages in “plus” control automatic operation in the chapter
4.15.2.6.1.3 menu „„Plus“ control error messages“, page 56.
Machine can be restarted.
