4.15.3.6 Transmitter battery change
The battery is located in the transmitter. At the end of the battery’s service life, this condition will be indi-
cated by steady blinking of LED „a“. Following the initial indication, the transmitter can continue to be
used for approximately 30 hours of operation.
The process for changing the battery is as follows.
o It is necessary to remove the cover of the transmitter by removing the 8 fastening screws.
Fig. 4-51
o To remove the old battery:
Carefully disconnect the battery plug
Take out the old battery. The battery is attached with two-sided tape. To avoid damage
to the battery and housing, avoid the use of tools when removing the battery. Clean off
the old tape residue to ensure maximum grip for the new battery’s adhesive surface.
To verify the fit and ideal position of the battery, position it in the transmission housing,
taking note of the connection cable. Then remove the protective film from the two-
sided tape, place the battery in the previously determined position and press firmly.
Carefully connect the battery plug.
o Next, replace the housing cover on the housing, taking care not to twist, jam or damage the
connection cable between the battery and transmitter. Finally, replace and tighten the fastening
screws.
DANGER
Risk of fire, explosions and severe burns.
The lithium battery is non-rechargeable: it should not be disassembled, recharged,
powered or short-circuited, nor subjected to high temperatures or flames, incinerated or
submerged in water.
