Hazards due to cuts suffered during tasks involving assembly of sharp cutting
blades!
These hazards can pose severe risk of cutting fingers and hands.
For any tasks involving cutting blades, wear cutproof protective gloves.
To turn or replace the cutting blades, you need:
A box wrench or open-ended wrench (24mm width across flats).
Cutproof protective gloves.
Edge protector to protect against knife cuts during the cutting blade assembly pro-
cess.
1. To replace cutting blades, climb through a delivery
opening into the empty mixing chamber. In this pro-
cess, it is essential to observe Chapter "Entry into
the mixing chamber" beginning at page 86.
2. Wear protective gloves.
3. Use edge protection (1) to protect against cuts from
cutting blades during the assembly process.
4. Loosen or remove the 3 screws (2).
5. Replace the cutting blades or turn them to the de-
sired position (aggressive or degressive); refer to
page 41.
6. Tighten all 3 screws (2) in the cutting blades’ screw
connections.
If a replacement cutting blade is added, use the
screw from the replacement kit.
7. Remove all foreign objects (tools, etc.) from the
mixing chamber.
8. Following completion of the task, climb back out of
the mixing chamber and through the delivery open-
ing.
