4.10 Counter-blades
Use of counter-blades in the mixing chamber (1) allows
the feed elements to be more finely chopped and more
rapidly mixed.
The counter-blades:
 for example, used for chopping and mixing round or
square bales,
 allow pivoting to different positions in the mixing
chamber,
 achieve a better result depending on how far into
the mixing chamber the counter-blades extend.

A handgrip (2) is used to swing manual counter-
blades (4) in and out and secure them with bolts (3) in
one of the three possible positions.

or out.
