When you use the IS lens’ built-in Image Stabilizer, camera shake is
corrected to obtain a sharper shot.
* IS stands for Image Stabilizer.
* Instructions for EF and EF-S lenses are in the Camera Instruction Manual PDF file.
Set it with the menu*. By default, it is set to [Enable].

Display the menu screen.
Press the <M> button.

Under the [A2] tab, select [Image
Stabilizer].
Press the <YA>/<ZO> button to
select the [A2] tab.
Press the <Wj/i>/<XL> button to
select [Image Stabilizer], then press
<Q/0>.

Select [Enable].
Press the <Wj/i>/<XL> button to
select [Enable], then press <Q/0>.
Press the <M> button.
* This menu is displayed when an EF-M lens with IS function has been attached.
