Setting your CapTel Phone for
Tone/Pulse Dialing
The dialing mode of your CapTel 840 PLUS phone is set to Tone dialing.
To set the dialing mode to Pulse dialing:
1. With the handset hung up,
press the YES button to see the
Options menu.
2. Press the DOWN arrow button
repeatedly until Settings is
highlighted. Press the YES
button to select.
3. Press the DOWN arrow button
to highlight Phone Settings.
Press the YES button to select.
4. Press the DOWN arrow button
repeatedly until Tone or
Pulse Dialing is highlighted.
5. Press the YES button to select.
6. Press the UP or DOWN arrow
button to select Tone Dialing
or Pulse Dialing.
7. When the dialing mode you
want is highlighted, press the
YES button to accept.
8. Press the NO button to exit out
of the Options menu.
