If product isn't being fed into the freezing cylinder of your Carrier Freezer, it could be due to:
* Inadequate mix in the hopper (mix out light is lit). Fill hopper with mix.
* Air/mix pump incorrectly assembled (C708/C716). Assemble pump according to instructions in the Operator’s Manual.
* Incorrect usage of the mix feed tube (C709/C717). Follow the correct feed tube procedures and use of the air orifice.

* Insufficient air space around the unit. Allow 6” (152 mm) minimum clearance around both sides of the unit and place the back against a wall.
* Worn scraper blades. Replace the scraper blades.
* Dirty air-cooled condenser. Clean monthly.
* Outdated mix. Use fresh mix.
* Refrigerant shortage. Locate leak and repair.
* Product viscosity set too warm. Adjust product viscosity.
* Incorrect usage of the mix feed tube (C709/C717). Follow the correct feed tube procedures and use of the air orifice.
* Incorrect DBV setting. See “Checking and Setting Refrigeration Valves.”
