4.Disconnecttheelectricalwiretothefuelinjectionpump
fuelshut-offsolenoid.Placeasuitablereceptaclebe-
lowtheoiloutletportandcranktheengineuntiloilows
fromtheoutletport.
5.Re-connecttheoiloutlettubeusinganewgasketand
tightentheretainingboltstothetorque.Re-connectthe
fuelinjectionpumpfuelshut-offsolenoidwire.
6.Checktheengineoillevelandaddoilifnecessary.
Starttheengineandcheckforoilandairleaks.
7.Observetheoilpressurewarninglight.Iftheoilpres-
surewarninglampdoesnotturnoffintherstfewsec-
ondsofidling,immediatelystoptheengineandconsult
yourdealer.
8.Oneverystart-uptheengineshouldbeallowedtoidle
(1000RPMmaximum)for60sbeforeoperatingunder
load,toensurethatanadequatesupplyofoilreaches
theturbochargerbearing.Theengineshouldalsobe
allowedtoidlewithoutloadfortwominutesbeforeshut-
downtoenabletheoiltodissipatetheheatfromthe
turbochargerbearing.
