Drivebelt-replacement
1.Movethemachinetoalevelandrmground.
2.Raisetheloaderattachmentandinstallthesafetysup-
portstrut.
3.Placethebackhoeattachmentintheroadtravelposi-
tion.
4.Placethedirection-of-travelleverandgearshiftleverin
neutralposition.
5.Immobilizethemachinebymeansoftheparkingbrake.
6.Stoptheengineandremovethestarterswitchkey.
7.Openandraisetheenginehood.
8.Visuallychecktheconditionofthedrivebelt(1).
9.Replaceitifitiswornordamaged.

10.Insertthe1/2"squarewrenchintotheholeofthe
tensionerroller(2).
11.Pressthewrenchasmuchasnecessarytoslacken
thebelt(1).
12.Releasethebeltfromthepulley(3)ofthewaterpump,
thenfromtheotherpulleys.
13.Installanewbeltonthepulleyofthewaterpumpand
onthepulley(4)ofthedriveshaft.
14.Insertthewrenchintotheholeinthebelttensioner
roller(2).
15.Pressthewrenchtoletthebeltpassonthepulley(5)
ofthealternator.

16.Closetheenginehood.
17.Removethesafetysupportstrutandlowertheloader
attachment.
Turbocharger
NOTICE:Seriousdamagetotheturbochargerbearingcanresultfrominadequatelubricationifthefollowingrec-
ommendationsarenotobserved.Thefollowingproceduremustbeobservedinordertopreventtheturbocharger
bearingsfromdeteriorating.
1.Disconnecttheinletandoutletoilpipesfromthetur-
bochargerandpoursomecleanengineoilintotheoil
inletport,takingcarethatnocontaminantsenterthe
turbocharger.
2.Removetheairinlettubefromtheturbochargerand
spinthecompressorwheelbyhandtopre-lubricatethe
bearings.
3.Re-connecttheoilinletandairinlettubesbutnotthe
oiloutlet.
