•Knowledgeofbatterychargerwiringandcomponentterminologyisrequiredbeforeattemptingany
repair(Figure15-7,Page15-11).
•Priortoservicingthecharger,disconnecttheDCplugfromthevehiclechargerreceptacleandthe
ACcordfromtheACoutlet.
NOTE:Theonboardchargerisavailableonfour-passengervehiclesandislocatedontheundersideoftherear-facing
seat.
Thischargerhasnointernalstoserviceorrepair.Itonlyhasafewexternalrepairsthatcanbeperformed.
Ifaninternalcomponentneedsrepair,thechargermustbereplaced.
