INSTRUMENTPANELREMOVAL
1.Removetwoscrews(1)atsidesandonescrew(2)ontopofinstrumentpanel(3)(Figure4-5,Page4-8).
2.Tiltinstrumentpaneluptoreleaseitfromthedashassembly(4).
3.Disconnecttheelectricalconnectoronthepassengersideoftheinstrumentpanel(3)andremovethepanel.
4.Removetwoscrews(5)andplasticrivet(6)andremovedashassembly(4)fromvehicle.
INSTRUMENTPANELINSTALLATION
1.Positiondashassembly(4)onvehicle.Makesuretabsontheforwardedgeengagetofrontunderbody.
Secureassemblyinplacewithtwoscrews(5)andplasticrivet(6)(Figure4-5,Page4-8).Tightenscrewsto
8.8lb·ft(12N·m).
2.Installtheinstrumentpanel.
2.1.Connecttheelectricalconnectorontheinstrumentpaneltotheharnessconnector.
2.2.Positiontheinstrumentpanel(3)onthedashassembly.Makesuretabsonupperedgeproperlyengage
withthecorrespondingslotsonthedashassembly.Ensurethattherearenowiresexposedorpinched
duringpositioning.
2.3.Secureinstrumentpaneltothedashassemblywithscrews(1and2).Tightenscrews(1)to22lb·in(2.5
N·m).Tightenscrew(2)to7lb·in(0.8N·m).
