KEYSWITCHINSTALLATION
1.Reverseremovalprocedurestoinstallkeyswitchintheinstrumentpanel.Connectwirestokeyswitch.
2.Installtheinstrumentpanel.
2.1.Connecttheelectricalconnector(3)(Figure19-19,Page19-18).
2.2.Positiontheinstrumentpanel(2)onthedashassembly.Makesuretabsonupperedgeproperlyengage
withthecorrespondingslotsonthedashassembly.Ensurethattherearenowiresexposedorpinched
duringpositioning.
2.3.Secureinstrumentpaneltothedashassemblywiththreescrews(1).Tightenscrewsto1.8lb·ft(2.5N·m).
3.Connectbatteryandsparkplugwire(s).

2.Usinga5/8inch(16mm)wrench,removemaintenance/operateboot/hexnut.
3.Removemaintenance/operateswitchfrombracket.
4.Disconnectthethreespadeterminalsandremoveswitch.
MAINTENANCE/OPERATESWITCHINSTALLATION
1.Connectthethreespadeterminals(Figure18-12,Page18-30).
2.Makesuregrooveswitchisalignedwithtangonbracketandinstallswitch.Tightenmaintenance/operateswitch
boot/hexnutto16lb·in(1.8N·m).
3.Connectthebattery.
