1.Disconnectbattery.SeeDisconnectingtheBattery-GasolineVehiclesonpage1-3.
2.RemoveECUmountingplatebolts.
3.Disconnectgrayandblackwireconnectors.
ENGINECONTROLUNITINSTALLATION
WARNING
•TopreventdamagetotheECU,nevermixtheblackandgrayconnectorsthatattachtoit.Theblack
connectoristetheredtotheECUmountingplatetohelppreventaccidentallyinstallingitinthegray
port.
1.MountECUtoplatewithboltsandtightento60lb·in(6.8N·m).
2.InstallgrayconnectortothegrayportontheECU.SeeprecedingWARNING.
3.InstallblackconnectortotheblackportontheECU.
4.Connectthebattery.
