4.4 Charger Installation Procedure
WARNINGS!
Be sure the external battery meets the following requirements:
Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA)
Gelled Electrolyte (gel) and Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Batteries or LEAD ACID
Be sure the booster is connected to the Charger (providing a load) BEFORE AC feed or
the Battery is connected to the charger.
BEFORE POWERING THE SYSTEM on, make sure
CHARGER DC OUT is connected to BOOSTER DC IN
BATTERY connection at CHARGER is connected to EXTERNAL
BATTERY
When connecting or disconnecting the battery, ALWAYS recycle AC power to the
Battery Charger.
