4.4 Charger Installation Procedure
WARNINGS!
• Be sure the external battery meets the following requirements:
Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA)
Gelled Electrolyte (gel) and Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Batteries or LEAD ACID
• Be sure the booster is connected to the Charger (providing a load) BEFORE AC feed or
the Battery is connected to the charger.
• BEFORE POWERING THE SYSTEM on, make sure
• CHARGER DC OUT is connected to BOOSTER DC IN
• BATTERY connection at CHARGER is connected to EXTERNAL
BATTERY
• When connecting or disconnecting the battery, ALWAYS recycle AC power to the
Battery Charger.
