5.2 Opening a Session to the Booster and
Navigating the GUI
This section describes how to open a first time local session to the Booster and how to navigate the
management Web GUI.
5.2.1 Open a First Time Local Web Session to the Booster
NOTE: To open a local session to the booster, the setup computer IP Address must be in the same
subnet as that of the Booster. The booster factor set IP Address is 192.168.1.253.
To open a local session to the booster:
1. Connect to the Boosters’ front panel Ethernet
port using the supplied Ethernet cable.

2. Verify the setup computer’s NETWORK
PARAMETERS are in the same subnet as the
Booster’s factory assigned IP Address.
NOTE: Booster’s factory assigned IP Address:
192.168.1.253.
On the computer, access the Internet
Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
Properties dialog.
Configure an IP address 192.168.1.x
(e.g. 192.168.1.9)
Set subnet mask to 255.255.255.0
Click OK to save the definitions.

3. Login to the Booster as follows:
Open a standard browser (e.g.
Chrome, IE or Firefox).
In the address line, enter the IP
address of the Booster.
