2-42 Removal and Replacement Procedures
Power Switch
IMPORTANT: To completely remove all power from the system, you must disconnect the
power cord from the server. In systems with multiple power supplies, you must disconnect
all power cords to completely remove power from the system.
To remove the power switch:
1. Perform the preparation procedures. See “Preparation Procedures” earlier in this chapter.
2. Remove the front fixed bezel. See “Front Fixed Bezel” earlier in this chapter.
3. Remove the side access panel. See “Side Access Panel” earlier in this chapter.
4. Unplug the power switch cables from the system board.
5. Press on the top and bottom of the switch, from inside the chassis

, then pull the switch
out the front of the server
