5.5.5 The User PIN Submenus
These two sub-menus both work in the same way. If the user pin has not
already been set, the MR400 allows you to set it here.

If you are given a message like “- PRESS SELECT TO SET THE USER
DISABLE PIN –“, the PIN has not yet been set. To set it:
• Press “SELECT”
• Enter, in the example above, the Disable PIN for the MR400. In the
case of the Totals User PIN, use the meter’s Totals PIN.
• Then enter the new User PIN when prompted.
• The MR400 will then ask for the same number to be entered again for
verification. If the same number is entered again, the MR400 will
enter the User PIN and tell you that it has done so.
Press “SELECT” to set
(in this example) the
User Disable PIN.
Press “EXTRAS” to
go to the User Totals
PIN.
