Water Separator (Diesel Engine) -
Drain
The water separator acts as a water trap to sepa-
rate the water from the diesel fuel. If the engine
fails to start or there is a loss of power, it may
have to be drained.
Remove plug at the bottom of the separator bowl
and allow the water to drain and then install plug.
Carburetor ( Gasoline and
LP - Gas Engine ) - Adjust
If the engine is hard to start or the exhaust is
smoking, the carburetor may need adjusting.
Before adjusting the carburetor make sure the
engine is at normal operating temperature. Park
the lift truck with the forks lowered, parking brake
applied, transmission in neutral and the engine
stopped.
