Hydraulic Oil - Check, Clean,
Change
Hot oil and components can cause personal
injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to
contact skin.
Park the lift truck level with the forks lowered, mast
tilted back (all cylinders retracted), parking brake
engaged, transmission in NEUTRAL and the engine
stopped.
1. Remove the hydraulic tank drain plug. Allow the
oil to drain. Clean and install the plug.
2. Raise the hood and seat assembly.
3. Remove dipstick/filler cap. Fill the hydraulic tank.

4. Lower the hood and seat assembly.
5. Start the engine and operate the hydraulic con-
trols, and the steering system, through a few cycles
to fill the lines. Look for oil leaks.
6. Stop the engine and check the oil level. With all
cylinders retracted, maintain the oil level to the
FULL mark on the dipstick.
