CAUTION
When disconnecting the autopilot after a pitch trim malfunction, hold the control
wheel firmly. Up to 30 pounds of force on the control wheel may be necessary
to hold the airplane level.
1 - AP/TRIM DISC pushbutton ..................................................... Press and hold
NOTE
When AP/TRIM DISC pushbutton is pressed and held, autothrottle also
disengages.
2 - AP/TRIMS switch .................................................................................... OFF
3 - AP/TRIM DISC
pushbutton ............................................................... Release
If necessary:
4 - Control wheel .............................................................................. Retrim
