PIT in AP Vertical Mode during FD Approach with Vertical
Guidance

Indicates the loss of vertical integrity signal during LPV or LNAV/VNAV.
This may be indicated by an annunciation change on the HSI.
Symptoms:
- AP mode from GP flashing 5 seconds to PIT,
- VDI is flagged and indicates NO GP.
► Fly the airplane ◄
Actions:
If automatic downgrade to LNAV:
1 -
Update minimums as appropriate.
If not:
► Perform a go-around ◄
End of procedure.
