12 System messages
The protocols summarized as system messages cover user ac-
tions, results of the system integrity tests (e. g. camera failure) and
messages from the internal system surveillance (e. g. hard disk or
fan failure).
The logging of system messages is conducted automatically and
can not be deactivated.
The ERROR LED on the recorder’s front side indicates critical
messages (system integrity tests and internal system surveillance).
In support of this the messages may also be indicated by a warning
dialog or sound (see manual Installation and conguration).
12.1 System messages conrmation
The system messages warning dialog is displayed in every mode
(Sequencer/Live, Playback/Live and Playback).

Filter system messages
If the system messages warning dialog is displaying messages re-
lated to different subjects the corresponding lter buttons will also
be displayed (A). The appropriate lters can be activated with a
click. This enables a clearly arranged and subject related display
(see in the following).
