15 Switching unit off
IMPORTANT
Data can be permanently lost if the device is swit-
ched off without being shut down.
Ensure that the DLS 4 / 8 / 16 is properly shut
down.
Shutting down is only possible via login with a
password.
NOTE
If you use the VdS installation kit, the unit can only
be switched back on after shutdown by service or
setup personnel.
Ø Click the Shut Down button in the dialog selection.

Switching off and on again
After switching the system off, you must wait approx. 10 seconds
before you can switch it back on.
If you switch the system back on immediately, it will not start up, as
the bridging voltage of the power supply has not yet discharged.
Restarting system (reboot)
You can restart the system without switching off the unit.
Ø Click Setup > System > Reboot.
