1-24 Motor Current
Option: Function:
[Motor
type de-
pend-
ent.]
Enter the nominal motor current value from the motor name-
plate data. The data are used for calculating torque, motor
protection etc.
1-25 Motor Nominal Speed
Range: Function:
Size re-
lated
*
[10 - 60000 RPM] Enter the nominal motor speed value from the motor nameplate
data. The data are used for calculating motor compensations.
1-26 Motor Cont. Rated Torque
Range: Function:
Size re-
lated
[1.0 - 10000.0 Nm] Enter the value from the motor nameplate data. The default
value corresponds to the nominal rated output. This parameter
is available when par. 1-10
Motor Construction
is set to
PM, non
salient SPM
[1], i.e. the parameter is valid for PM and non-sali-
ent SPM motors only.
1-29 Automatic Motor Adaptation (AMA)
Option: Function:
The AMA function optimises dynamic motor performance by au-
tomatically optimising the advanced motor parameters (par.
1-30 to par. 1-35) at motor standstill.
Activate the AMA function by pressing [Hand on] after selecting
[1] or [2]. See also the section
Automatic Motor Adaptation
in
the Design Guide. After a normal sequence, the display will
read: "Press [OK] to finish AMA". After pressing the [OK] key
the frequency converter is ready for operation.
This parameter cannot be adjusted while the motor is running.

[1] Enable complete AMA Performs AMA of the stator resistance R
S
, the rotor resistance
R
r
, the stator leakage reactance X
1
, the rotor leakage reactance
X
2
and the main reactance X
h
. Select this option if an LC filter is
used between the drive and the motor.
FC 301: The Complete AMA does not include X
h
measurement
for FC 301. Instead, the X
h
value is determined from the motor
database. Par. 1-35
Main Reactance (X
h
)
may be adjusted to
obtain optimal start performance.
[2] Enable reduced AMA Performs a reduced AMA of the stator resistance R
s
in the sys-
tem only.
