12.1. Overview
The DM4000 ETH48GT is a non-blocking 48 port 1000/100/10 Mbps interface board compatible with
DM4001, DM4004 and DM4008 chassis.
The DM4000 ETH48GT can handle up to 71.428.571 packets per second supporting 9500 Bytes Jumbo
frames reaching wire speed operation.
The DM4000 ETH48GT has a 400Mhz microprocessor with 256Mbytes of RAM and 64Mbytes of Flash.
The DM4000 ETH48GT Extensive Metro Support can handle up to 16.000 MACs. Its internal memory
handles complex QoS applications and High-End Enterprise solutions.
