      Make sure you have an up-to-date browser to view the footage with the proper ActiveX options. The browser must be Internet Explorer, as the software will not play on any other browser. Download all Windows Updates to ensure you have the latest version of Windows and Internet Explorer.

      Confirm that the cameras are properly connected to the back of the DVR and to a power source. If using the 4 to 1 power connector, make sure it is plugged into a power source and each of the cameras. Also, check if DISPLAY ? LIVE ? COVERT is not set to ENABLE.

      To start recording, press the RECORD button on the remote. Also, go to RECORD ? REC PARA ? RECORD to ensure all cameras are set to ENABLE. Check your record schedule to ensure the DVR is set to record that hour. Verify that the HDD is installed and formatted in the DEVICE menu.

      First, ensure the batteries are installed correctly. Then, make sure you are pointing the remote at the IR sensor. Point the IR Remote at the camera lens and press a button. You should be able to see the IR LED flicker through the DVR monitoring device. If it still doesn’t work, try replacing the batteries in the remote.

      The DVR may be beeping due to video loss, HDD loss, motion detection, or lack of HDD space. Check your connections and ensure the DVR is in a safe place. You can also try disconnecting and reconnecting all camera connections to make sure they are snug and tight fitting.

      A high video quality setting can cause the hard drive to fill up faster. You may want to check your video quality settings and try lowering the video quality. Also, if you are using Schedule Record for 24 hours a day, the hard drive will fill up faster. Try switching periodically to Motion record.
