2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove the GPU fan.
5. Remove the CPU fan.

In sequential order (as indicated on the heat sink), loosen the seven captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board.
2. Lift and remove the heat sink off the system board.
