Authentication
Profiles
The following three Authentication Profiles are configured
by default:
• defaultList—Method is NONE, which means no
authentication is required.
• networkList—Method is LOCAL, which means the user
credentials are verified against the information in the local
user database.
• enableList—Method is NONE, which means no
authentication is required.
The methods can be changed, but the preconfigured profiles
cannot be deleted or renamed.
Local User Database No users are defined
Line and Enable
passwords
No passwords are configured.
TACACS+ No TACACS+ servers are defined.
RADIUS No RADIUS servers are defined.
Telnet New Telnet sessions are allowed, and the default port is 23.
SSH SSH access to the switch is disabled.
HTTP HTTP access to the switch is enabled.
HTTPS HTTPS access to the switch is disabled.
DoS DoS protection is disabled.
