Removing the M.2 SSD module from the M.2 riser module
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
Steps
1. To remove the M.2 SSD module from the M.2 riser, rotate the latch to a horizontal position and then pull out the engage pin.
2. Pull the M.2 SSD module to remove it from the M.2 riser.

Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3. Remove the latch on the snap clip and rotate the latch to a vertical position.
NOTE: The position of the blue latch used for the M.2 SSD 2280 and M.2 SSD 22110 are different.
Steps
1. Align the M.2 SSD module at an angle with the M.2 riser connector.
2. Insert the M.2 SSD module firmly until it is fully seated in the M.2 riser connector.
3. To secure the M.2 SSD module on the M.2 riser module, insert the engage pin to rotate the latch to a vertical position and
then insert the latch into the snap clip.
