2. Press the power switch to the On (1) position or for NIC BP, press
the red power button.
3. When the Graphical User Interface appears, the NIC BP unit is
ready for use.
Turning Off or Rebooting the NIC
It is important to use the procedure described below when shutting
down the NIC. Failure to do so may result in lost data and corrupt
system files.
The shutdown procedure can only be performed through the graphical
user interface.
1. From any protocol processor tab, select the Shut Down button at
the lower right of the screen. A dialog box will appear.
• To shut down the NIC, select Shutdown.
• To restart the NIC, select Reboot.
2. Select Ok from the next dialog box.
3. When the screen has gone black, turn off the power switch or
unplug the unit.
