These tabs allow you to easily navigate and switch between functions.
When a function tab is selected, the information displayed on the screen
will change and correspond to that particular function. Additionally, the
Back and Forward arrows allow you to scroll through various tabs.
This function is similar to the Go To button that appears in the LEDs/
Quick Status area.
The specific protocol processor tabs in each NIC unit will vary depend-
ing on each units unique hardware configuration as well as licensed test
options.
The last three tabs on the right are always the same for every NIC unit:
•Switch Matrix: Displays and allows you to configure the
OTN, SONET/SDH and PDH Interface rates and Mappings,
and Add/Drop connections between the OTN, SONET/SDH
and PDH protocol processors.
•System: Sets unit and user preferences, general settings, I/O
settings, security, and file access functions.
•Help: Displays the unit’s online help.
NOTE
For information about switching between SONET and SDH mode, or
DS3/DS1 to E3/E1 modes, see the Save/Restore section in Common
Function Button section.
